R&S Maids ("we", "our", or "us") is a residential and commercial cleaning company. We operate the R&S Maids booking and scheduling application (the "Service") at booking.rsmaidsservice.net and as a mobile app. The Service is used by our staff and management to schedule and manage cleaning jobs, and by our clients to view and manage their bookings, messages and invoices. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Google Calendar data (optional)
Our app can use the Google Calendar API to read and write calendar events on behalf of a staff member who chooses to connect their Google account. Access is granted through Google OAuth 2.0 and is limited to calendar events. We use this access only to show the person's schedule in the app and to add or update their R&S Maids jobs in their calendar. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not allow humans to read it unless you give us permission, it is necessary for security or legal reasons, or it is needed to support the Service.
What Google data we access. Only the Google Calendar events of the staff member who connects their account (event titles, times, locations and descriptions), and the access tokens Google issues to us. We do not access Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data.
How we use it. To show that person's events inside the R&S Maids schedule, and to create or update their R&S Maids job events in their own calendar. We use it for nothing else.
How we share it. We do not sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to anyone, and we do not share it with other staff, clients or third parties, except our own hosting provider (Google Firebase) that stores it for us, or if the law requires it. Other staff members cannot see your Google Calendar events through the app.
How we protect it. Access tokens are stored encrypted in our database and used only by our servers to fetch your calendar on your behalf. Data is transmitted over HTTPS, and access to our systems is limited by role.
Retention and deletion. We keep Google Calendar access tokens only until you disconnect Google Calendar or your account is removed, and then we delete them. We do not keep a copy of your calendar events beyond your session. You can also ask us to delete your data at any time at the address below.
No AI or advertising use. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, and we do not use it for advertising of any kind.
You may revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions page, or by disconnecting Google Calendar in the app, which deletes the stored access tokens.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We share personal data only with service providers that process it for us in order to run the Service, and only as needed for that purpose:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or to enforce our terms. Within R&S Maids, access to client information is limited to staff and management who need it to do their work, based on their role.
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet our business, tax and legal obligations. Client booking, messaging and billing records are kept for the life of the client relationship and for the period required for accounting purposes. Staff account data is removed or disabled when a staff member leaves R&S Maids. Temporary data such as verification codes and sign-in challenges expires automatically. Google Calendar access tokens are kept only until you disconnect Google Calendar or your account is removed.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including Firebase Authentication, role-based access so people can only see what their role allows, encrypted storage of sensitive tokens, and HTTPS for all data transmission. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit who can see it.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
